Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bianco Farina to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Fulvio Pardini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Montello FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pavarolo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Borgo Montello FC's Fulvio Pardini got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Pavarolo FC's Ferdinando Ciaccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Farina in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Borgo Montello FC defense, Fedele Pettinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Grimaldi. The Borgo Montello FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Grimaldi should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Borgo Montello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Campana came free, but Fabio Grimaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Grimaldi came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Pavarolo FC's Corrado Campana. But to his dismay, Corrado Campana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Pavarolo FC's Achille Ferraro got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Fedele Pettinelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Montello FC's Fabio Grimaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Concetto Borel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Montello FC's zone, Corrado Campana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Grimaldi came out of the goal and Corrado Campana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Fedele Pettinelli notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Borgo Montello FC's Fabio Grimaldi. Fabio Grimaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fedele Pettinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Grimaldi having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Borgo Montello FC got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Pezzi. Corrado Campana struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Fabio Grimaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavarolo FC. If Emilio Quattrocchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavarolo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
