The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferruccio Vianello made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ferruccio Vianello managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Vianello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Mannella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, Ercole Preda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alvise Capasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ferruccio Granato hit a great ball. Ercole Preda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Spartak Zocca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ferruccio Vianello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Alberto Berardini notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella. Antonello Mannella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Vianello in the 15th minute of play. Antonio Nazzari did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Antonello Mannella 18 minutes into the match. Alvise Capasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Preda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvise Capasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Ciolli in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Alberto Berardini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Berardini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvise Capasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercole Preda went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes of play, Spartak Zocca's Federico Borel made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Capasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Amos Serafini. In the 40th minute Ferruccio Pallotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Capasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alberto Berardini managed to get in a good position for a shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferruccio Pallotta was the one to do the kick off. AC Milan's Alvise Capasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Ciolli in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercole Preda got free with Alvise Capasso in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amos Serafini hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Ercole Preda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvise Capasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Ciolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Spartak Zocca got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bordon. Alvise Capasso made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ercole Preda sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Alvise Capasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Ciolli. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Ferruccio Granato got a free kick in the 81st minute. A hard shot 83 in the game by Ercole Preda from a close distance when the talented Alvise Capasso managed to make a qualified save. AC Milan's players were relieved. Ferruccio Pallotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvise Capasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio Pallotta in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute Ferruccio Vianello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Mannella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AC Milan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spartak Zocca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
