When Cesare Motta came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the RODDAN AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Motta couldn't finish the play. Alex Feliziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bernardo Censi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Caccavale kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Alex Feliziani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garbatella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Feliziani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RODDAN AFC! Fabrizio Colelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Motta in the 26th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, RODDAN AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Caccavale to maneuver through the defense. Diego Caccavale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabrizio Colelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Caccavale slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Feliziani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anthony Pomponio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardo Censi, passed just outside the right post. If Anthony Pomponio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Colelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of RODDAN AFC booed when Garbatella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Abete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Domenico Borrelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Cesare Motta made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Colelli. Garbatella AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RODDAN AFC fully deserved thier win.
