An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Pomponio in the 29th minute of play forced Filadelfia CF's goalkeeper İzzettin Boranalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márk Sipos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Colelli having to interfere. Alessio Loreto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Filadelfia CF's İzzettin Boranalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Feliziani in the 36th minute of play. Emilio Di Felice let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 38th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. İzzettin Boranalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Feliziani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Garbatella AFC's İzzettin Boranalp threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anthony Pomponio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, Filadelfia CF's goalkeeper İzzettin Boranalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Feliziani. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márk Sipos to make the kick off. Garbatella AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
