In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garbatella AFC's goalkeeper Fabrizio Colelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferruccio Pallotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonello Mannella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Feliziani in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Garbatella AFC booed when Spartak Zocca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Feliziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Garbatella AFC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Garbatella AFC's Alex Feliziani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Garbatella AFC's Fabrizio Colelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Pallotta in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Pallotta in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Colelli saved Garbatella AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Pallotta in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Colelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Bellucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Antonello Mannella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Anthony Pomponio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garbatella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Pomponio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Pomponio in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 56th minute Ferruccio Pallotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Colelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AFC's zone, Ercole Preda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Colelli came out of the goal and Ercole Preda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Anthony Pomponio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garbatella AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Pomponio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Mannella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Spartak Zocca got a freekick which was hit by Federico Borel. In the 75th match minute, Spartak Zocca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Borel to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Garbatella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Pallotta came free, but Fabrizio Colelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Pallotta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Colelli was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Fabrizio Colelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Anthony Pomponio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Alex Feliziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Mannella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Garbatella AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Garbatella AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Spartak Zocca were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
