In the 9th minute Ferruccio Luciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bosco AFC's Fortunato Santilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Luciano in the 20th minute of play. When Dino Lauro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bosco AFC's protests and gave Dino Lauro a yellow card for diving instead. Dino Lauro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Achille Piretti notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bosco AFC's Fortunato Santilli. Fortunato Santilli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fortunato Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Ranalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Ferruccio Luciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ferruccio Luciano made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Santilli. Bosco AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Rosário V booed when Bosco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano De Iuliis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Davide Cancemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bosco AFC's Fortunato Santilli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ferruccio Ranalli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosário V's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Ranalli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Santilli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Bosco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Lauro. Bosco AFC's Fortunato Santilli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Bosco AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Bosco AFC's Fortunato Santilli got control of the ball when Ferruccio Ranalli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferruccio Luciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fortunato Santilli. That made the score 1-5 in the 64 minute of play. Fortunato Santilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Piretti in the 70th minute of the match. Fortunato Santilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Cancemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th match minute, Bosco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Olivieri to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bosco AFC's zone, Ferruccio Luciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Santilli came out of the goal and Ferruccio Luciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunato Santilli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio Ranalli in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Bosco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Luciano came free, but Fortunato Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Marrone charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Marrone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Armando Marrone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Rosário V's Ferruccio Ranalli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Santilli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Rosário V's Ferruccio Ranalli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fortunato Santilli. That made the score 1-7 after 93 minutes of play. Rosário V played a much better game than Bosco AFC and deserved their victory. The Bosco AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
