After 24 played minutes Inter Vik got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Rizzo. After a defensive mix-up in Shannara's zone, Luisão Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Colelli came out of the goal and Luisão Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alexander Rosi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Vik's protests and gave Alexander Rosi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter Vik getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alexander Rosi hit a great ball. Emilio Spinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Achille Franceschini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
