Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Achille Piretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Ranalli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Contestabile made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of FC Spadolini:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rosário V:s goal. The goalkeeper, Cristoforo Contestabile, was totally fooled by Rosário V's Achille Piretti, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Masetti during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rosário V's Carlo Di Gennaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Improta in the 20th minute of play. Amedeo Cicchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Di Gennaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Cicchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Improta in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Di Gennaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Improta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carlo Di Gennaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Improta to make the kick off. Cristoforo Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Piretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute, Ferruccio Ranalli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rosário V's Carlo Di Gennaro got control of the ball when Amedeo Cicchetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, FC Spadolini's Fausto Improta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ferruccio Ranalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Fausto Improta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlo Di Gennaro. The goal made the score 1-2. Achille Piretti scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Contestabile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Achille Piretti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Cristoforo Contestabile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferruccio Ranalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Contestabile having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, FC Spadolini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Cicchetti to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Rosário V got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Mastrocola. FC Spadolini's Antonello Orsi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlo Di Gennaro but with some difficulty. 93 minutes into the game, Fausto Improta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlo Di Gennaro. Fausto Improta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rosário V players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
