Fulvio Porreca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmondo Marcucci during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes A.c. Picchia got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Marcucci. A collision led to A.c. Picchia getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alessio Eboli hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Augusto Imperiale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulvio Porreca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Ciccio Loody who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Spadolini's Cristoforo Contestabile was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes A.c. Picchia got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Scalabrino. 14 minutes into the match, A.c. Picchia's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Improta came free, but Fulvio Porreca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Fausto Improta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, one of A.c. Picchia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ciccio Loody had several of the FC Spadolini's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cristoforo Contestabile as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fulvio Porreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Scrima in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Improta in the 30th minute of play forced A.c. Picchia's goalkeeper Fulvio Porreca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, A.c. Picchia's Ciccio Loody ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo Contestabile. Cristoforo Contestabile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Fausto Improta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulvio Porreca. A.c. Picchia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Improta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 45th minute Carter Franceschi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Adriano Scrima fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spadolini's protests and gave Adriano Scrima a yellow card for diving instead. A.c. Picchia's Anthony Carbonaro was substituted for Carter Franceschi.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Improta made a kick off. Fulvio Porreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Improta in the 57th minute of play. Fulvio Porreca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Scrima in the 61st minute. Enrico Filice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Contestabile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciccio Loody's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Fausto Improta might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulvio Porreca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Improta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, A.c. Picchia's Fulvio Porreca got control of the ball when Amedeo Cicchetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ennio Falcone fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spadolini's protests and gave Ennio Falcone a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A.c. Picchia booed when FC Spadolini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Falcone didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.c. Picchia's Fulvio Porreca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Falcone in the 78th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Fulvio Porreca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute of the match, Amedeo Cicchetti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fulvio Porreca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fulvio Porreca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Improta in the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, A.c. Picchia's Fulvio Porreca got control of the ball when Amedeo Cicchetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulvio Porreca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Cicchetti in the 92nd minute. Ennio Falcone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fulvio Porreca came out and tried to block the shot, but Ennio Falcone slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 94th minute. The A.c. Picchia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Spadolini were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
