The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernesto Marcon came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Scevola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. In the 19th play minute Dino Gazza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernesto Marcon. 3-0. Dino Gazza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Marcon came out and tried to block the shot, but Dino Gazza slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dino Gazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villadeatese FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Gazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Marcon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Montorio FC's Francesco Scudieri got a free kick in the 31st minute. Dino Gazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Marcon having to interfere. Dave Gori kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Ernesto Scevola came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Villadeatese FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Scevola couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Carlo Terrasi made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Montorio FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dave Gori hit a great ball. Villadeatese FC's Ernesto Scevola got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Marcon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Scevola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Villadeatese FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Cameli. Frank Staniscia kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Ermanno Testi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Marcon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Montorio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Scevola came free, but Ernesto Marcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Villadeatese FC booed when Montorio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Porro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Antico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Marcon having to make a save. In the 77thth minute of the game Dino Gazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montorio FC's Ernesto Marcon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Cameli hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Antonio Tristezza struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dino Roberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montorio FC. Carlo Terrasi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Dino Roberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ernesto Marcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Gazza in the 85th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Villadeatese FC were the better team. Villadeatese FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
