The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Nacional di Veyron OAF's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Grieco came free, but Carter Piacente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Caiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antonello Grieco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Grieco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Carter Piacente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When Fabio Caiola came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Capodimonte AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Caiola couldn't finish the play. If Fabio Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Capodimonte AFC's Christian Marrone got a free kick in the 56th minute. Capodimonte AFC's Attilio Rosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Furino in the 57th minute of play. Carter Piacente made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Fabiano Di Cesare sent off a good shot on target. Anselmo Gentile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Emilio Bonfigli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Rosi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Bianco Foddis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional di Veyron OAF and the Capodimonte AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nacional di Veyron OAF's Bianco Foddis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Fabio Caiola struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carter Piacente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capodimonte AFC. The supporters of Capodimonte AFC booed when Nacional di Veyron OAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Bulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes Nacional di Veyron OAF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Marrone who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Christian Marrone got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carter Piacente quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
