After a rather tough play, Milano FC's Concetto Rosati got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Contestabile got free with Camillo Fantini in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camillo Fantini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But to his dismay, Frank Massimini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Achille Contestabile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Camillo Fantini made a huge save. Achille Contestabile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Camillo Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Stanga's Ciccio Del Grosso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Melone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Massimini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Massimini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Milano FC defense, Filippo Barresi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Melone. The Milano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Melone should have stopped the shot. Flavio Del Nero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Fantini having to interfere. Carlo Melone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Barresi in the 62nd minute. Concetto Rosati hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Rosati during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Milano FC's Concetto Rosati got a free kick in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, Stanga's Carlo Melone threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frank Massimini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 69 minutes into the game, Flavio Del Nero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Camillo Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Concetto Rosati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Achille Contestabile charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Contestabile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camillo Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Milano FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
