Anfilogino De Nardis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Aloisi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Armando Aloisi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino De Nardis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Antonioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Antonioni in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino De Nardis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Bernardo Giovannelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Caterina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S. TUNZE TUNZE the free kick. Bernardo Giovannelli hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fortunato Bulla made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Emiliano Sabatini sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Armando Aloisi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Caterina's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Aloisi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino De Nardis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Cristiano Antonioni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino De Nardis. S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Antonioni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Aloisi made a kick off. Bernardo Giovannelli kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Anfilogino De Nardis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Armando Aloisi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Santa Caterina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Antonioni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Caterina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Bernardo Giovannelli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cristiano Antonioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino De Nardis came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Caterina's Cristiano Antonioni. But to his dismay, Cristiano Antonioni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 82 minutes, Cristiano Marsilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.S. TUNZE TUNZE and the Santa Caterina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute of the match Christian De Santis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anfilogino De Nardis skillfully saved the ball. When Cristiano Antonioni came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Santa Caterina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Antonioni couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's Anfilogino De Nardis got control of the ball when Cristiano Antonioni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anfilogino De Nardis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Aloisi in the 92nd minute of the match. Armando Aloisi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Anfilogino De Nardis 93 minutes into the match. Santa Caterina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
