Marina Di Palidoro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eraldo Albertosi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Amatori in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, CG Studenti's Anthony Pelati made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Baciadonne was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 27 minutes, Eraldo Albertosi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CG Studenti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Albertosi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Anthony Pelati who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marina Di Palidoro's Anthony Baciadonne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Anthony Baciadonne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Albertosi in the 52nd minute of the match. Marina Di Palidoro's players were relieved. 56 minutes into the match, CG Studenti's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Abete came free, but Fabio Tondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eraldo Albertosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Pelati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Baciadonne having to interfere. In the 81st minute, CG Studenti's Eraldo Albertosi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Eraldo Albertosi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthony Baciadonne having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Abete in the 90th minute of play forced CG Studenti's goalkeeper Fabio Tondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marina Di Palidoro's Franco Raffa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Pelati could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Anthony Baciadonne made a huge save. Ermanno Abete kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
