He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porto Corsini AFC reached it. 30 minutes into the match, Fizzonasco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Palmucci came free, but Anthony De Paolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Porto Corsini AFC's zone, Corrado Chiarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fizzonasco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Angelini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Padula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Fizzonasco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porto Corsini AFC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulvio Palmucci to strike the kick off in the second half.
