Francesco Padula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Varglien during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Porto Corsini AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Emiliano Varglien hit a great ball. Francesco Padula was a little too slow when Enrico Romagnoli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Josué de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Palmucci in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Porto Corsini AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank De Grandis to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Ferruccio Pallini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Passerini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Romagnoli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Galliate Lombardo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Angelo Di Nunzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Padula having to interfere. The supporters of Galliate Lombardo AFC booed when Porto Corsini AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Caneva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Davide Passerini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porto Corsini AFC's Francesco Padula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Romagnoli in the 42nd minute of play. Galliate Lombardo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto Corsini AFC the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fulvio Palmucci made the kick off in the second half. Adrianinho Massa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Porto Corsini AFC's Emiliano Varglien got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrico Romagnoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Padula having to interfere. Galliate Lombardo AFC's Angelo Di Nunzio got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Angelo Di Nunzio off the ground. The supporters of Porto Corsini AFC booed when Galliate Lombardo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Di Nunzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70th play minutes Fulvio Palmucci shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Josué de Moraes and just under the crossbar into goal. When Davide Passerini came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Galliate Lombardo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Passerini couldn't finish the play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 82nd minute, but Josué de Moraes got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Galliate Lombardo AFC hanging dry this time. Fulvio Palmucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué de Moraes having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Galliate Lombardo AFC's goalkeeper Josué de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Pallini. Davide Passerini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Padula having to interfere. 98 minutes in the game, Fulvio Palmucci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josué de Moraes having to interfere.
