Galliate Lombardo AFC's Josué de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Balboni in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Enrico Romagnoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Balboni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué de Moraes having to make a save. Josué de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Balboni, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Camillo Cameli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Galliate Lombardo AFC's Josué de Moraes. Josué de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelo Di Nunzio charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Di Nunzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ac Sparta booed when Galliate Lombardo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Di Nunzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Balboni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Galliate Lombardo AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Angelo Di Nunzio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Balboni in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Enrico Romagnoli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Galliate Lombardo AFC's Angelo Di Nunzio got a free kick in the 47th minute. Josué de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Balboni, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Balboni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ac Sparta's goalkeeper Dennis Di Crescenzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Enrico Romagnoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Adrianinho Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Amerigo Mazzini fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ac Sparta's protests and gave Amerigo Mazzini a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Ac Sparta got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Mazzini. 87 minutes into the match, Ac Sparta's Camillo Cameli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué de Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Davide Passerini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galliate Lombardo AFC and the Ac Sparta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from Fabiano Marchesani in the 91st minute of play was well struck, but Josué de Moraes made a really good save at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Davide Balboni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac Sparta's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Balboni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Balboni struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Josué de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ac Sparta. Ac Sparta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
