When Fulvio Caneva fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porto Corsini AFC's protests and gave Fulvio Caneva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porto Corsini AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fulvio Caneva hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Porto Corsini AFC defense, Fedele Di Maio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Padula. The Porto Corsini AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Padula should have stopped the shot. Fedele Di Maio in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francesco Padula, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fedele Di Maio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Francesco Padula made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Ciccio Ciaccia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Padula. Porto Corsini AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciccio Ciaccia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 38th match minute, Porto Corsini AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Varglien to maneuver through the defense. Fedele Di Maio scored 4-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Padula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedele Di Maio to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Fedele Di Maio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Padula was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Fulvio Caneva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porto Corsini AFC's Francesco Padula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Pedroni in the 61st minute of play. Ciccio Palumbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Francesco Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Di Maio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Porto Corsini AFC's zone, Ciccio Palumbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Padula came out of the goal and Ciccio Palumbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedele Di Maio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Padula having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Porto Corsini AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Di Maio came free, but Francesco Padula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milazzo's Arturo Pedroni got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciccio Ciaccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fedele Di Maio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Francesco Padula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milazzo. When Ciccio Ciaccia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Milazzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Ciaccia couldn't finish the play. Francesco Padula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Pedroni in the 81st minute of play. If Fedele Di Maio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Porto Corsini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Caneva. 84 minutes into the match, Porto Corsini AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Pedroni came free, but Francesco Padula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Federico Volta notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Porto Corsini AFC's Francesco Padula. Francesco Padula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
