In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magnago AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Formaggio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Di Crescenzo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fausto Corelli sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes of play, Ac Sparta's Davide Balboni made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Formaggio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Davide Balboni came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ac Sparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Balboni couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Magnago AFC's Anthony Del Monte got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Magnago AFC defense, Davide Balboni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Formaggio. The Magnago AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Formaggio should have stopped the shot. After 73 minutes, Alvaro Meazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnago AFC and the Ac Sparta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Alvaro Meazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
