László Gyarmathy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Finocchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Dolphin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Feltrin came free, but Camillo Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Borrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Caccia in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dolphin FC's Achille Tammaro got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Luca Azzone booed when Dolphin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Ferrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. László Gyarmathy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fabio Finocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Antonelli scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camillo Borrelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Dolphin FC's Lambert Vogl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Finocchi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 61st minute Lambert Vogl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Finocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, László Gyarmathy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolphin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but László Gyarmathy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Finocchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonello Feltrin in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Borrelli saved Dolphin FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonello Feltrin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camillo Borrelli. That made the score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. Fabio Finocchi came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolphin FC's Lambert Vogl. But to his dismay, Lambert Vogl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, Anselmo Di Francesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Finocchi. Luca Azzone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Di Francesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Antonello Feltrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulvio Antonelli during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Luca Azzone got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Antonelli. After a defensive mix-up in Dolphin FC's zone, Antonello Feltrin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camillo Borrelli came out of the goal and Antonello Feltrin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Achille Tammaro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dolphin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Tammaro couldn't finish the play.
