But to his dismay, Eugenio Nazzaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Diego Palumbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Graziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. San Pellegrinos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Corrado Puce 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Graziani in the 26th minute of play forced Basta lmmaginarlo's goalkeeper Diego Palumbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Daniele Di Domenico put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Basta lmmaginarlo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Pellegrinos:s goal. Diego Palumbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Nazzaro in the 31st minute of play. Anselmo Pellecchia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Nardi having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Anselmo Pellecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Eugenio Nazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Palumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Achille Della Torre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Corrado Puce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basta lmmaginarlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Puce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Nardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

In the 54th minute of the match Amedeo Sampo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Palumbo skillfully saved the ball. Flavio Campo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Diego Palumbo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Corrado Puce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basta lmmaginarlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Puce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Nardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Pellecchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Pellecchia in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Nardi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Palumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of San Pellegrinos booed when Basta lmmaginarlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Paganelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Basta lmmaginarlo's Diego Palumbo got control of the ball when Flavio Campo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Achille Della Torre struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alvaro Nardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basta lmmaginarlo. Flavio Campo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Pellegrinos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
