Sabauda FC's Armando Toschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Pellegrini in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Amedeo Pellegrini notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sabauda FC's Armando Toschi. Armando Toschi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Amedeo Pellegrini came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Costamezzana City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Pellegrini couldn't finish the play. Damiano Carlini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Armando Toschi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Amedeo Pellegrini sped through Sabauda FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Toschi. Concetto Nazzari might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Toschi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Concetto Nazzari ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Napoleoni charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Napoleoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Sabauda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Napoleoni to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Amedeo Pellegrini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabauda FC's Armando Toschi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costamezzana City's Eraldo Fini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Basso in the 28th minute of play. Eraldo Fini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Napoleoni went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Nazzari got free with Armando Toschi in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sabauda FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Comunardo Iacovacci 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. 42 minutes into the match, Costamezzana City's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Napoleoni came free, but Eraldo Fini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabauda FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Costamezzana City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edoardo Buccella took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Pellegrini was the one to do the kick off. Armando Toschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Pellegrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Pantalone hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Costamezzana City's Amedeo Pellegrini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Toschi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Cara's late challenge caught a Costamezzana City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Cara helped the player get up and apologised. Costamezzana City's Amedeo Pellegrini got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Comunardo Iacovacci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costamezzana City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Comunardo Iacovacci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Concetto Nazzari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costamezzana City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Alex Basso's late challenge caught a Costamezzana City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Basso helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Basso hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Angelo Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Toschi having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Maia in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Toschi saved Sabauda FC from getting behind. After 90 played minutes Sabauda FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Basso. When Costamezzana City's Angelo Maia in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabauda FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Angelo Maia put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Toschi. When the referee ended the match the Costamezzana City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
