Sportiva Libera's Ferdinando Biavati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Borel in the 9th minute of play. Armin Borel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 18 minutes Pegaso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberigo Di Cicco who took care of the corner kick. Anthony Porreca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Anfilogino Meo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armin Borel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Biavati having to interfere. Anthony Porreca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Ferdinando Lopez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anthony Porreca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Lopez having to interfere. Anthony Porreca struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ferdinando Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportiva Libera. In the 45th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Pantani to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Biavati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Menna in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Pegaso FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Brandolini made a kick off. Anfilogino Meo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 52nd playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Borel in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Biavati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anfilogino Meo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Biavati made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Pegaso FC's Ferdinando Biavati threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armin Borel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fortunato Genta charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fortunato Genta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fortunato Genta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Sportiva Libera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Brandolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Meo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Ferdinando Biavati skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Sportiva Libera's Fortunato Genta got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sportiva Libera's zone, Anfilogino Meo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Biavati came out of the goal and Anfilogino Meo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 83rd minute of the match Fortunato Genta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fortunato Genta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fortunato Genta kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Sportiva Libera getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emilio Ciccarelli hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes, Pegaso FC's Armin Borel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinando Biavati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pegaso FC reached it. Pegaso FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
