When Anfilogino Meo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pegaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Meo couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Anthony Dorigatti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso FC the free kick. After 14 minutes, Armin Prandini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso FC and the Ferento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Armin Prandini got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Concetto Donati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Donati, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Concetto Donati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Donati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Borel in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Ragazzoni saved Ferento FC from getting behind. Anfilogino Meo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Filippo Ragazzoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegaso FC. When Daniele Dossena fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pegaso FC's protests and gave Daniele Dossena a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Dossena. 35 minutes into the game, Beppe Albanesi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferento FC the free kick. In the 39th minute of the game Dave Pala made a throw-in which Bianco Ronca played forward. Pegaso FC's Armin Borel got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Donati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Felice Marziali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferento FC and the Pegaso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filippo Ragazzoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Borel in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Anfilogino Meo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Meo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Ragazzoni saved Ferento FC from getting behind. Filippo Ragazzoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Meo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to Ferento FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bianco Ronca hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Concetto Donati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinando Lopez was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Filippo Ragazzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Borel in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Edoardo Piccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Meo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Borel in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Ragazzoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ferento FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
