In the 31st match minute, Sportiva Libera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Giuliani to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Fortunato Genta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, AGF's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Porreca came free, but Ciccio Garibaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Bracco to make the kick off. When Dario Bracco came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the AGF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Bracco couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Sportiva Libera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Genta to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sportiva Libera's zone, Dave Piccirilli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Biavati came out of the goal and Dave Piccirilli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinando Biavati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Bracco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
