Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Concetto Donati started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Alberigo Chitarroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The AGF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute, Ferento FC's Camillo Scarcella seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camillo Scarcella the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ferento FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camillo Scarcella had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Ferento FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Camillo Scarcella hit a great ball. Filippo Ragazzoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Mattioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, AGF's Frank Mattioli tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Felice Marziali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Ferento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Bracco came free, but Filippo Ragazzoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Anthony Dorigatti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Bracco in the 42nd minute of play forced Ferento FC's goalkeeper Filippo Ragazzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Ferento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Anastasi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half AGF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Bracco was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to AGF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adriano Strazzabosco hit a great ball. If Felice Marziali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felice Marziali came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ferento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Marziali couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AGF's Cristoforo Aversano got a free kick in the 76th minute. Felice Marziali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciccio Garibaldi having to make a save. After some careless play in the AGF defense, Felice Marziali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciccio Garibaldi. The AGF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciccio Garibaldi should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, AGF's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Marziali came free, but Ciccio Garibaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Vitale charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Vitale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
