Ferdinando Lopez came out of the goal and Anselmo Passerini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Armin Borel came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pegaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Borel couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Galante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Varsity Blues Velletri's Ferdinando Franceschelli got control of the ball when Anfilogino Meo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Varsity Blues Velletri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo La Marca to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Varsity Blues Velletri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Mancini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Franceschelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Borel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Varsity Blues Velletri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Passerini didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Passerini made a kick off. The corner ended in Beppe Albanesi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varsity Blues Velletri's Ferdinando Franceschelli did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Amerigo Galante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amerigo Galante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Lopez made a huge save. Ferdinando Lopez made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Amerigo Galante sent off a good shot on target. Ferdinando Franceschelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Meo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes of play, Pegaso FC's Armin Borel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Franceschelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd match minute, Varsity Blues Velletri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Baur to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varsity Blues Velletri's Ferdinando Franceschelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Borel in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Varsity Blues Velletri defense, Anfilogino Meo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinando Franceschelli. The Varsity Blues Velletri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinando Franceschelli should have stopped the shot. Fabrizio Menna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ferdinando Franceschelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Armin Borel came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pegaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Borel couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pegaso FC fully deserved thier win.
