The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Cattaneo got free with Filippo Ragazzoni in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Donati to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Concetto Donati who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casavatore AFC's Attilio Orecchioni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casavatore AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Concetto Donati 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Casavatore AFC's zone, Felice Marziali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Orecchioni came out of the goal and Felice Marziali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Alberigo Piccirilli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippo Ragazzoni. Ferento FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Piccirilli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 76th minute Concetto Donati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Orecchioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Casavatore AFC's Alberigo Piccirilli made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Ragazzoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Casavatore AFC's Attilio Orecchioni got control of the ball when Felice Marziali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Attilio Orecchioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Donati, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Ferento FC's Anthony Dorigatti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attilio Orecchioni. Attilio Orecchioni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. In the 91st minute, Fulvio Troilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Concetto Donati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Orecchioni was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Anthony Dorigatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferento FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
