Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Caeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Cristoforo Strano however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th match minute, Borbiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Bartolomucci to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Borbiago's zone, Cosimo Guida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Barillari came out of the goal and Cosimo Guida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Barillari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Moon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniele Puglielli during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Cosimo Guida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Cavallucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Chiesa ITA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Aureli to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nigel Moon was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Emanuele Masci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiesa ITA and the Borbiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Chiesa ITA got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Masci. In the 53rd minute of the match Daniele Puglielli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Strano skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Borbiago's Pedro Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Strano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cristoforo Strano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Cavallucci in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Borbiago's Ermanno Cavallucci made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Strano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermanno Cavallucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cristoforo Strano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiesa ITA's goalkeeper Cristoforo Strano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ermanno Cavallucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosimo Guida kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Pedro Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th match minute, Borbiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Puglielli to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Alvise Di Liddo took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Alfredo Barillari to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Borbiago could leave the field as winners, despite Chiesa ITA having more of the ball for most of the match.
