Higinio Menocal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. In the 12th minute Dino Imperiale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Chioda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filippo De Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo De Francesco in the 18th minute of play forced Puciu F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Proia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo De Francesco's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Demetrio Catena kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia got control of the ball when Filippo De Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Catena struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dennis Chioda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puciu F.C.. In the 31st minute, Anthony Pelliccioni made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Proia. Puciu F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Filippo De Francesco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Corrado Proia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 34 minutes, Carter Costacurta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puciu F.C. and the Porricchio fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puciu F.C.'s Carter Costacurta got a free kick in the 35th minute. Filippo De Francesco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Corrado Proia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filippo De Francescos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Corrado Proia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th match minute, Porricchio fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Giolo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Dino Imperiale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puciu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Imperiale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Filippo De Francesco made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Filippo De Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Porricchio fc's Filippo De Francesco in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corrado Proia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dennis Chioda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Fabrizi in the 70th minute of the match. Filippo De Francesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Proia having to make a save. If Filippo De Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porricchio fc made a substitution. Alex Reggianini replaced Ben Barr. Corrado Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo De Francesco in the 82nd minute of play. Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Pelliccioni in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Porricchio fc's Dennis Chioda got control of the ball when Dino Imperiale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filippo De Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Imperiale in the 96th minute of play forced Porricchio fc's goalkeeper Dennis Chioda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Porricchio fc had played much better football throughout.
