Puciu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Imperiale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Beppe Di Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Bombai Belen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia. Corrado Proia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Puciu F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ettore Gigli hit a great ball. Antonio Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dino Imperiale sent off a good shot on target. Bombai Belen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enzo Cordone struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Corrado Proia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VAGISIL. In the 41st minute, Bombai Belen made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Proia. Puciu F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 46th minute, Armando Fabrizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Armando Fabrizi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bombai Belen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. If Beppe Di Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd play minute Bombai Belen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Corrado Proia. 0-3. Beppe Di Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bombai Belen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Corrado Proia made a huge save. When Beppe Di Matteo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the VAGISIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Di Matteo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia got control of the ball when Bombai Belen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Di Matteo in the 87th minute of play. Beppe Di Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. Carter Costacurta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. VAGISIL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
