With an all-out effort, Ciaculali's Ferdinando Pasqualone threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Simone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Nazzaro during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Treviso AFC booed when Ciaculali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Nazzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ciaculali getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fausto Nazzaro hit a great ball. Dennis Corleone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corrado Muciaccia's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Dennis Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Falasca in the 24th minute of play. Fausto Nazzaro was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th minute, Fausto Nazzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Treviso AFC's Corrado Muciaccia in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emilio Rosi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Pasqualone made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Sabatini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ferdinando Pasqualone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Treviso AFC's zone, Emilio Rosi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Pasqualone came out of the goal and Emilio Rosi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ferruccio Sabatini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Pasqualone having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Treviso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Sabatini came free, but Ferdinando Pasqualone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ciaculali's Dennis Corleone got control of the ball when Corrado Muciaccia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Simone during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Sabatini in the 69th minute of play forced Treviso AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Pasqualone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Treviso AFC's Bianco Spitaleri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Treviso AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferdinando Pasqualone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Sabatini in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Emilio Rosi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciaculali and the Treviso AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Ciaculali got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Rosi. Corrado Muciaccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Pasqualone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Simone's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Treviso AFC's Ferdinando Pasqualone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Simone in the 86th minute of play. Ferdinando Pasqualone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Sabatini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Simone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciaculali's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
