SIMPSON 2015's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Basile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, SIMPSON 2015's goalkeeper Edmondo Cipollone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Sabatini. The corner led Ciaculali's Dennis Di Fonzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmondo Cipollone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ferruccio Sabatini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Cipollone having to interfere. Ciaculali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SIMPSON 2015 the free kick. After 87 played minutes Ciaculali got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Rosi. 93 minutes into the match, SIMPSON 2015's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Simone came free, but Edmondo Cipollone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmondo Cipollone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Sabatini, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
