Martin Vidales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Di Berardino struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Biagio Lenci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quarto. In the 8th minute, Gotham City's Martin Vidales ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Marongiu. Frank Marongiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Ercole Falone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Quarto's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Vidales came free, but Frank Marongiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Martin Vidales made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quarto's Frank Marongiu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrico Raniolo's late challenge caught a Gotham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Raniolo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Quarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Raniolo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Alessandro Di Berardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Lenci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Lenci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio De Simone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Travaglini in the 38th minute of play forced Gotham City's goalkeeper Biagio Lenci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Lenci came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Quarto's Alessandro Di Berardino. But to his dismay, Alessandro Di Berardino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Frank Marongiu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Martin Vidales sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Vidales made a kick off. Ennio Paolucci hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Martin Vidales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gotham City's goalkeeper Biagio Lenci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alessandro Di Berardino came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Biagio Lenci could save by the left post. Ercole Falone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Frank Marongiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Martin Vidales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Marongiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Martin Vidales came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Vidales couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Paolucci to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Lenci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulvio Curti went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gotham City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Adriano Travaglini scored to the left of an out of position Biagio Lenci, making the score, 2-3. In the 79th minute, Nonso Scarpone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quarto's Frank Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Vidales in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Alessandro Di Berardino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Di Berardino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Martin Vidales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goalkeeper Biagio Lenci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Di Berardino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Vidales during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Martin Vidales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Quarto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gotham City.
