In the 39th minute of the match Demetrio Damiani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Lenci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Martin Vidales might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Castelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Vidales ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes Dolo got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Damiani. Ercole Falone struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bernardo Castelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gotham City. 47 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Del Pizzo came free, but Biagio Lenci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the game, Gotham City's Martin Vidales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Castelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dolo's Bernardo Castelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Vidales in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Ennio Palleschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gotham City booed when Dolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Gerola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biagio Lenci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonello Prato in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute of the game Domenico Brillante made a throw-in which Alberto Del Pizzo played forward. Bernardo Castelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Crespo in the 80th minute of the match. Bernardo Castelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Vidales's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Dolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Falone came free, but Bernardo Castelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gotham City defense, Fedele Di Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Lenci. The Gotham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Lenci should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Ercole Falone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Bernardo Castelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Dolo's Alberto Del Pizzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Biagio Lenci. That made the score 5-2 after 93 minutes of play.
