The Real Tusculum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortunato Mancini should have stopped the shot. Fang Guang Ping could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Fortunato Mancini made a huge save. In the 41stth minute of the game Cristoforo Oberrauch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Tusculum FC's Fortunato Mancini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpi FC's Leonidas Bosis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fortunato Mancini. That made the score 5-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 46th minute Leonidas Bosis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Mancini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Fang Guang Ping got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Fortunato Mancini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Oberrauch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Leonidas Bosis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonidas Bosis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carpi FC's Cristoforo Oberrauch in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Tusculum FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carpi FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
