After 21 minutes, Christian Melito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SANTANDREA and the Novate Mislanese players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SANTANDREA's Christian Melito got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, SANTANDREA's Christian Mattei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Talamo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of SANTANDREA booed when Novate Mislanese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Castellini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Sessa in the 36th minute of play forced SANTANDREA's goalkeeper Cristoforo Scivittaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Amicone hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Spitaleri made a kick off. Christian Mattei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edoardo Spitaleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Edoardo Spitaleri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTANDREA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Spitaleri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christian Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Di Giandomenico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Scivittaro having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Emanuele Di Giandomenico elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Emanuele Di Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novate Mislanese's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Di Giandomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Scivittaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filippo Sessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Scivittaro having to interfere. Ferruccio Palmisano's late challenge caught a SANTANDREA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Palmisano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Ferruccio Palmisano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Mattei struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Arturo Talamo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTANDREA. 86 minutes into the match, Edoardo Spitaleri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Talamo. Novate Mislanese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Spitaleri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Filippo Sessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Scivittaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippo Sessa ran back to his position shaking his head.
