The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Emiliano Fioravanti took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Dave Talamo to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

PESCARA F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Secondigliano AFC for much of the match.
