After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ciro Stumpo managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Cosimo Polidori came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fortaleza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Polidori couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şehzade Akburç was the one to do the kick off. Christian Campoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Pace, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Fortaleza's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Pace came free, but Christian Campoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şehzade Akburç in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando De Lellis saved Porporana from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Porporana's Bruno Molinaro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Don Cabeza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando De Lellis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Corrado Pietropaolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortaleza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Pietropaolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Don Cabeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando De Lellis having to interfere. Fortaleza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
