Spectators: 7668 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emiliano Fioravanti kicked off to start the match. PESCARA F.C.'s Alessio Cinque got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo's Claudio Doris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Fioravanti in the 15th minute of play. Emiliano Fioravanti took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Doris. Claudio Doris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carmine Cericola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fortunato Coscarella made a huge save. Alfonso Ciccone kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Diego Lusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Leonardo booed when PESCARA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Salemme didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emiliano Fioravanti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half PESCARA F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Briganti to strike the kick off in the second half. Emilio Minotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Coscarella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Minotti went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Briganti in the 70th minute of play forced PESCARA F.C.'s goalkeeper Fortunato Coscarella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Emiliano Fioravanti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claudio Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Fioravanti in the 78th minute. Armando Caponera kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Enzo Quadrini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortunato Coscarella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anfilogino Salemme hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alessio Cinque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Comunardo Cerasoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortunato Coscarella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Minotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Leonardo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
