Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute 邵阳海 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando De Lellis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, SS Milazzo's goalkeeper Bernardo Ansoldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Mazzola. 13 minutes into the game, Adriano Dossena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porporana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SS Milazzo the free kick. After 13 played minutes Porporana got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Dossena. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, 邵阳海 managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS Milazzo's supporters rose to their feet, but 邵阳海 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando De Lellis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute of the match, Adriano Dossena tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Ansoldi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SS Milazzo's Bernardo Ansoldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save SS Milazzo from getting a goal against them. SS Milazzo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Fracassi in the 24th minute. Comunardo Antonelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, 邵阳海 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando De Lellis. Porporana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邵阳海 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. SS Milazzo's Bernardo Ansoldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Mazzola in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 邵阳海 in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando De Lellis saved Porporana from getting behind. 邵阳海's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando De Lellis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Adriano Di Paolo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Porporana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for SS Milazzo. Dino Fracassi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando De Lellis. 1-2. After the first half SS Milazzo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Del Vecchio made a kick off. Bernardo Ansoldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Del Vecchio in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SS Milazzo defense, Adriano Dossena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Ansoldi. The SS Milazzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Ansoldi should have stopped the shot. 邵阳海 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando De Lellis having to make a save. 邵阳海's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Armando De Lellis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Porporana booed when SS Milazzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Ascenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, SS Milazzo's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Maranzano came free, but Bernardo Ansoldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Ansoldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Dossena in the 76th minute of the match. If Aldo Riso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Pozzoli struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bernardo Ansoldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porporana. SS Milazzo's Bernardo Ansoldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Dossena in the 87th minute of play. If Comunardo Mazzola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porporana succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SS Milazzo had controlled the match.
