Amerigo Riva took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Contaldi. Ernesto Contaldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andrea De Sisti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ernesto Contaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Saliceto Panaro's zone, Miroslav Klose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Petrosino came out of the goal and Miroslav Klose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Caligaris kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cesare Petrosino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Amerigo Riva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Contaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Saliceto Panaro's Cesare Petrosino got control of the ball when Miroslav Klose tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Contaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Riva in the 25th minute of play. Ernesto Contaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Gentile, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mo Scapuocchij's Bruno Talamo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrea De Sisti took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Contaldi. Ernesto Contaldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Mo Scapuocchij booed when Saliceto Panaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Doris didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Felice Gentile came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Saliceto Panaro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Gentile couldn't finish the play. Donato Sangermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mo Scapuocchij players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saliceto Panaro were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd minute, Angelo Doris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Contaldi. The goal made the score 0-3. Felice Gentile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ernesto Contaldi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Riva in the 61st minute of play forced Mo Scapuocchij's goalkeeper Ernesto Contaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Andrea De Sisti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ernesto Contaldi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo Imperatrice lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mo Scapuocchij! Saliceto Panaro's Cesare Petrosino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Talamo in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Mo Scapuocchij was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Klose to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 79th minute of play forced Saliceto Panaro's goalkeeper Cesare Petrosino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Riva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Contaldi came out and tried to block the shot, but Amerigo Riva slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. Ernesto Contaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Riva in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Amerigo Riva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Contaldi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 93 minutes into the match, Mo Scapuocchij's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Riva came free, but Ernesto Contaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
