From close distance Bernardo Cavallo pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 44 minutes into the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ciro Cavallaro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Adriano Fontana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberigo Giammaria. pulcinaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Fontana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, pulcinaia's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico De Bartolo came free, but Alberigo Giammaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Bernardo Cavallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmondo Formica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Maiorano having to make a save. Ciro Cavallaro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Dario Maiorano 63 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes, Bernardo Cavallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villamontagna FC and the pulcinaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberigo Giammaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Cavallo in the 71st minute of the match. But to his dismay, Alessandro Rocchetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to pulcinaia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emiliano Schirru hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Alvaro De Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Domenico De Bartolo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villamontagna FC's protests and gave Domenico De Bartolo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Villamontagna FC's Domenico De Bartolo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ciro Cavallaro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 88th playminute. Edmondo Formica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Filippo Michelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Giammaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Villamontagna FC could leave the field as winners, despite pulcinaia having more of the ball for most of the match.
