Cesare Petrosino came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Scuola Calcio Spes's Grzegorz Rywin. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Rywin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Scuola Calcio Spes's Grzegorz Rywin got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Rosati kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Amerigo Riva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Filice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scuola Calcio Spes's Florian Filice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Doris in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Amerigo Riva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Filice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Scuola Calcio Spes getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Domenico Di Luzio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Scuola Calcio Spes's Fortunato Tripodi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Florian Filice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Gentile, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Gentile in the 35th minute of play forced Scuola Calcio Spes's goalkeeper Florian Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Amerigo Riva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Filice was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Scuola Calcio Spes's Filippo Rosati got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Rywin to strike the kick off in the second half. Dario Iacobucci kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Florian Filice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Riva, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Florian Filice made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrea De Sisti in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Bernardo Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Petrosino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrico Vida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesare Petrosino having to make a save. Cesare Petrosino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Lusi in the 79th minute of play. Fortunato Cala hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Scuola Calcio Spes got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Rywin. 87 minutes into the match, Saliceto Panaro's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Lusi came free, but Cesare Petrosino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesare Petrosino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Vida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Saliceto Panaro failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
