Alexander De Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cardozo in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Felice Mian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Mariotti. Real Piazza 1982's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felice Mian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Peter Larsfält left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Piazza 1982 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 19th match minute, Real Piazza 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Teti to maneuver through the defense. Alexander De Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Nestor Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alexander De Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Cristoforo Aloisi made a precise shot to the right of Alexander De Francesco. AS Fonte Nuova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 42nd match minute, AS Fonte Nuova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Rulli to maneuver through the defense. Sebahattin Üsküplü was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 46 minutes AS Fonte Nuova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebahattin Üsküplü who took care of the corner kick. Real Piazza 1982's Sebahattin Üsküplü was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander De Francesco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dietbald Munderloh to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Dietbald Munderloh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander De Francesco. Dietbald Munderloh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. If Nestor Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, Real Piazza 1982's Dietbald Munderloh made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander De Francesco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexander De Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Cardozo in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Dietbald Munderloh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Piazza 1982's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dietbald Munderloh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Nestor Cardozo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander De Francesco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to AS Fonte Nuova getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dennis Silvestre hit a great ball. Dietbald Munderloh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander De Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Real Piazza 1982 were awarded a corner. Sebahattin Üsküplü went to the cornerflag to take it. Alexander De Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cardozo in the 79th minute of play. Dietbald Munderloh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander De Francesco having to make a save. AS Fonte Nuova's Alexander De Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save AS Fonte Nuova from getting a goal against them. Dietbald Munderloh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander De Francesco came out and tried to block the shot, but Dietbald Munderloh slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 84th minute. When Dietbald Munderloh came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Real Piazza 1982 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dietbald Munderloh couldn't finish the play. Real Piazza 1982's 孔松翀 was substituted for Nestor Cardozo. Alexander De Francesco was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Dietbald Munderloh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dietbald Munderloh really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Real Piazza 1982 played a much better game than AS Fonte Nuova and deserved their victory. The AS Fonte Nuova players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
