Borghi AFC's Demetrio Cardano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Trevisani in the 3rd minute of play. The tension between the Porcareccia F.C. and the Borghi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosimo Fallito kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Porcareccia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dave Foni came free, but Alvise Pelliccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Dave Foni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes Porcareccia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Gizzi. Dave Foni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Pelliccioni having to interfere. Alvise Pelliccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Pelliccioni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Polmone struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alvise Pelliccioni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borghi AFC. Dave Foni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alvise Pelliccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Trevisani to make the kick off. With a little luck, Porcareccia F.C.'s Alvise Pelliccioni got control of the ball when Francesco Polmone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Cardano came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Porcareccia F.C.'s Alfredo Gizzi. But to his dismay, Alfredo Gizzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dave Foni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Pelliccioni having to interfere. Dario Ballerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alvise Pelliccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Cardano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Fallito in the 76th minute of the match. If Anthony Pelliccioni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Dave Foni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvise Pelliccioni. That made the score 1-1 in the 82 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Anthony Pelliccioni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borghi AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
