Comunardo Toccaceli was slow to take the kick. During this time E.C. 95's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute, Edmondo Maccioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Emiliano Orsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esse Trento's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Orsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, E.C. 95's Comunardo Toccaceli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio De Bettin. Flavio De Bettin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute Emiliano Orsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Esse Trento's goalkeeper Flavio De Bettin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Toccaceli. Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Esse Trento from getting a goal against them. Flavio De Bettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Giusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Contestabile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esse Trento. When Emiliano Orsi came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Esse Trento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Orsi couldn't finish the play. If Emiliano Orsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio De Bettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Serafini, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Federico Di Bernardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C. 95's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esse Trento the free kick. The supporters of E.C. 95 booed when Esse Trento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Scoca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio De Bettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Serafini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Contestabile was a little too slow when Pastor Cilio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 64th minute, Alberigo Di Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmondo Maccioni took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio De Bettin. Flavio De Bettin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Toccaceli in the 78th minute of play forced Esse Trento's goalkeeper Flavio De Bettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Cilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bruno Contestabile made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Emiliano Orsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Esse Trento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Maccioni in the 90th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
