The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tessello booed when Gravina FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necmi Karacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tessello's Amedeo De Vecchis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Capasso in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonello Capasso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo De Vecchis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Antonello Capasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gravina FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tessello's Fabiano Colella got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amedeo De Vecchis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Capasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Backman during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Jim Backman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Edoardo Raniolo made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Gravina FBC's Bartolo Osorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amedeo De Vecchis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, Tessello's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Osorio came free, but Amedeo De Vecchis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Dennis Bonanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Mancini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tessello's zone, Anselmo Canzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo De Vecchis came out of the goal and Anselmo Canzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo De Vecchis made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Antonello Capasso sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Anselmo Canzano took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Amedeo De Vecchis to make any attempt to save it. After 91 minutes of play, Gravina FBC's Antonello Capasso made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amedeo De Vecchis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amedeo De Vecchis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Anselmo Canzano sent off a good shot on target. Gravina FBC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
