With a little luck, E.C. 95's Bruno Contestabile got control of the ball when Anselmo Canzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Backman in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Gravina FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Karacan to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonello Capasso to make the kick off. Bruno Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Capasso in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Felice Mariotti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. 95 and the Gravina FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes E.C. 95 got a freekick which was hit by Felice Mariotti. In the 59th match minute, E.C. 95 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Tozzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Gravina FBC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edoardo Serafini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 63rd match minute, Gravina FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Backman to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Bartolo Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gravina FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Di Sipio in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Gravina FBC's corner Fausto Di Sipio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Contestabile quite easily take care of the ball. Bruno Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Canzano in the 68th minute of play. Cesare Mancini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Toccaceli, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Bruno Contestabile came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gravina FBC's Anselmo Canzano. But to his dismay, Anselmo Canzano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 80th minute Antonello Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Antonello Capasso sped through E.C. 95's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Contestabile. Edoardo Serafini's late challenge caught a Gravina FBC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Serafini helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes E.C. 95 got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Serafini. After 85 minutes of play E.C. 95's Felice Mariotti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th minute of the match Fausto Di Sipio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Contestabile skillfully saved the ball. Edoardo Serafini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Mancini having to interfere. Bruno Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Canzano in the 89th minute of the match. Bruno Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Antonello Capasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Contestabile having to make a save.
