After 15 minutes of play, Tessello's Carter Finocchi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raí Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Esse Trento's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bonanni came free, but Raí Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Esse Trento's Fabio Bertolini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amedeo De Vecchis. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. Raí Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Cappucci in the 23rd minute of play. Raí Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Pastor Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Fabio Bertolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo De Vecchis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tessello's Amedeo De Vecchis got control of the ball when Felice Pasquino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raí Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes Tessello got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Cappucci. In the 69th match minute, Tessello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Bellisario to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Combi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
